About Walther PPS
The Walther PPS is one of the best possible handguns available on the market for carrying concealed. The slim frame and compact size make it easily concealable and lightweight, to give you the best possible comfort while carrying but still giving you a gun large enough to shoot comfortably. The lack of external safeties cuts down on the surfaces that can snag while drawing the pistol, while also minimizing the time it takes to get the gun up and firing. The trigger safety prevents the gun from going off until your finger is actually on the trigger depressing the safety and pulling the trigger. Overall the PPS is an excellent chioce for anyone who carries concealed and has good taste in firearms. Detailed Review
The Walther PPS (Police Pistol Slim) is a popular firearm designed for personal defense and concealed carry. It was first introduced in 2007 by the German gun maker Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen, and has since become a favorite among gun enthusiasts.
The PPS is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol available in 9mm and .40 S&W calibers. It features a polymer frame with an ergonomic grip that provides a comfortable and secure hold. The slide is made of stainless steel and has a black Tenifer finish that provides excellent resistance to corrosion and wear.
The PPS has a low profile design that makes it easy to conceal under clothing without sacrificing accuracy or reliability. It measures just 6.3 inches in length, 4.4 inches in height, and 1 inch in width. The weight of the gun varies depending on the caliber, with the 9mm version weighing in at 21.1 ounces and the .40 S&W version weighing 22.5 ounces.
The PPS has a number of features that make it an excellent choice for self-defense, including a trigger safety, a loaded chamber indicator, and a reversible magazine release. The gun also has a Picatinny rail that allows for the attachment of accessories such as lights and lasers.
In terms of accuracy and performance, the PPS is hard to beat. It has a 3.2-inch barrel that provides excellent accuracy at typical self-defense ranges. The gun also has a smooth and crisp trigger pull that allows for precise shot placement. The PPS has a magazine capacity of 6+1 rounds for the .40 S&W and 7+1 rounds for the 9mm, which gives you plenty of firepower in a compact package.
Cleaning and maintaining the PPS is a breeze. The gun breaks down easily into its main components and can be cleaned with minimal effort. The PPS also comes with interchangeable backstraps that allow you to customize the grip to your hand size and shape.
Overall, the Walther PPS is an outstanding firearm that combines concealability, accuracy, and reliability. Whether you're looking for a gun for personal defense, concealed carry, or target shooting, the PPS is definitely worth considering.

May 10, 2018darn good pistol
Purchased November 2017 because it was on sale leading up to Thanksgiving. I had been viewing it for months and finally took action to make a purchase. I do own a couple of Glock handguns and I admit the PPS M2 functions just as well as the Glocks.

March 19, 2018Ammunition Feed Update
On January 23,2018, I posted a review regarding stovepipes and magazine feed problems using standard range ammunition (Winchester, Remington, Blazer). I found that feeding this gun Winchester NATO solved the problem; it simply needed higher velocity ammun

February 13, 2018Excellent CCW and range gun
I love my PPS classic. It's essentially identical to the M2 but has the paddle mag release and adjustable backstraps. The backstrap has a safety decocker that some folks don't like but it can be disabled without any effect on function.

January 27, 2018Excellent conceal carry handgun
I purchased this handgun about two months ago and it's already one of my favorite firearms. Ergonomics are excellent--especially with the 8 round mag. Slim profile makes it easy to carry. It shoots as nice if not better than any other handgun I have owned

January 19, 2018Ammunition will not feed!
I have not determined whether the feed problem is the ammunition or the magazine: still testing. Winchester target ammo will absolutely stovepipe or not feed from the magazine. I will test Remington and Blazer target ammo today. If this ammo fails I will

I got this to serve as my EDC since it's a bit more compact than my PPQ M2 9mm. I gave it 4 stars because even though I like it very much I really love my PPQ M2., so my standard of comparison is fairly high ;-) The LE bundle has the phosphoric night sigh
