About Walther PPS M2 LE
A revolutionary yet practical concept. Delivering the premier concealed carry option with unprecedented accuracy and comfortability, capable of withstanding anything thrown in its way. Upon its release, the PPS series transformed the industry by introducing a polymer single-stack concealed carry pistol, effectively establishing a trend that remains popular still today. The PPS M2 is a more refined version of that original design, now measuring only 1” thick! It is the ultimate representation of Walther’s world-renowned performance catered to the expectations of the modern shooter. The thin, yet comfortably full frame provides the most grip surface in its class, allowing ample room for off-hand support. More grip surface provides significantly improved recoil management when combined with the higher grip supplied by the undercut trigger guard. The secret to the accuracy of the PPS M2 results from the legendary Walther barrel and an internal steel chassis that provides superior slide-to-frame fit. These features make the PPS M2 the most accurate, controllable, and concealable handgun available on the market. Often imitated, but never duplicated, the PPS series is designed to exceed every expectation and deliver the absolute best shooting experience possible. When more is required, the PPS M2 LE model includes 3

Detailed Review
The Walther PPS M2 LE is a compact and reliable firearm that is designed for personal defense and law enforcement use. This pistol is specially crafted to offer a wide range of features that make it ideal for concealed carry, especially for those who prioritize safety.
One of the standout features of the PPS M2 LE is its ergonomic design, which makes it easier to shoot and control, even with one hand. The grip is textured for a secure hold while the low profile slide and smooth edges reduce the chances of snagging on clothing, helping to make sure you can easily draw your weapon when needed.
Another impressive attribute of the Walther PPS M2 LE is its accuracy. The gun comes with three-dot metallic sights that are adjustable for windage, making it easier to obtain accurate shots. The trigger system is also an improvement on previous versions, and it has a smooth pull that is easy to adjust according to your preference.
The PPS M2 LE is available in both 9mm and .40 S&W calibers, with a magazine capacity of six, seven, or eight rounds depending on the model you choose. The guns come with two magazines, one with a flat base plate and another with an extended finger rest, allowing you to customize the grip depending on your hand size and firing preferences.
This firearm also has a number of safety features that make it ideal for law enforcement use. It has a loaded chamber viewport, which allows you to easily check if a round is chambered before disassembling your weapon. It also has a striker-blocking safety system, which prevents accidental discharge if the gun is dropped or bumped.
The Walther PPS M2 LE is available in a special edition package known as the Law Enforcement Package (LEP). The LEP includes three magazines (two six-round and one seven-round) and phosphoric night sights, which help to improve accuracy in low light conditions.
Overall, the Walther PPS M2 LE is a reliable and high-performing pistol that is ideal for personal defense or law enforcement use. Its ergonomic design, accuracy, and safety features make it a must-have for those who prioritize their safety and need a reliable firearm in a high-pressure situation.

Purchased November 2017 because it was on sale leading up to Thanksgiving. I had been viewing it for months and finally took action to make a purchase. I do own a couple of Glock handguns and I admit the PPS M2 functions just as well as the Glocks.

February 13, 2018Excellent CCW and range gun
I love my PPS classic. It's essentially identical to the M2 but has the paddle mag release and adjustable backstraps. The backstrap has a safety decocker that some folks don't like but it can be disabled without any effect on function.

January 19, 2018Ammunition will not feed!
I have not determined whether the feed problem is the ammunition or the magazine: still testing. Winchester target ammo will absolutely stovepipe or not feed from the magazine. I will test Remington and Blazer target ammo today. If this ammo fails I will

Comfortable to shoot. Feels good in the hand. Acceptable carry size and weight. Trigger isn't bad. Put soft grip on it and swapped out the sights. The front white dot came loose. It's my weapon of choice at the moment.
