August 28, 2017nice gun, but the cylinder was so tight the cases would not push out. the gun was not useable right out of the box. I had to use to use a finish reamer to enlarge the chambers. buds was great as normal.

The convertible .45 ACP//45 Colt has been hard to find until Sportsman's Guide. Fit and finish are very good and mechanics are excellent. Both cylinders fit and index as they should and the revolver is a joy to handle and fire.

March 8, 2016I wanted a Single Action Army to shoot .45 ACP. The .45 ACP is more powerful than the available .45 long Colt and cost half as much. This revolver has both cylinders and they are easy to swap out. The gun shoots dead on to point of aim from 7 to 25 yards.

June 25, 2012My 1883 is nothing short of beautiful. It feeds and extracts well. This weekend I was able to put 7 rounds of 45 colt 225 leverEvolution ammo in less than a 2 inch group @ 50 yards. What a gun!
