About Ruger LCR
The Ruger® LCR® Double-Action Revolver makes a lightweight, fast handling concealed carry gun that is quick to get on target. The innovatively designed LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) has a monolithic frame of aerospace-grade, 7000 series aluminum; a streamlined fluted stainless steel cylinder; and a stainless steel barrel insert, threaded into the aluminum frame. The frame is finished in non-reflective matte black, optimum for self-defense weapons. To keep overall weight to a minimum, the LCR uses a polymer grip frame that houses all the fire control components. The LCR has a concealed hammer that prevents the gun from snagging while being drawn rapidly from a holster, pocket, or purse, allowing the firearm to function when an emergency situation calls for it to be purposely fired from inside a pocket or purse. The double-action trigger pull on the LCR is as smooth as silk, which is due to Ruger's refined trigger geometry and spring rates. The non-stacking trigger allows a shooter to maintain a constant sight picture while cycling the cylinder and firing the revolver. A front-sight blade is pinned to the frame and can easily be replaced with aftermarket sight options, and the fixed rear sight consists of a groove on the top of the frame. The Ruger LCR Double-Action Revolver is a reliable firearm that is easy to operate for most any shooter, regardless of experience, making it a perfect firearm for concealed carry and home defense. Made in USA.

Detailed Review
The Ruger LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) is a double-action revolver made by Sturm, Ruger & Co. that was first introduced in January 2009. The LCR is designed to be a lightweight and easy-to-carry revolver that can be used for personal defense.
The LCR is available in several different calibers, including .22 Long Rifle, .22 Magnum, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, and 9mm. The revolver has a lightweight polymer frame and a stainless steel cylinder which helps to reduce weight and increase maneuverability. The barrel of the LCR is also made from stainless steel.
The LCR has a unique design that incorporates a monolithic frame, which means that the frame, cylinder, and barrel are all one piece. This design helps to increase durability and reduce weight. The LCR also has a patent-pending friction-reducing cam, which helps to reduce trigger pull weight and improve accuracy.
The LCR has a double-action-only trigger, which means that the trigger must be pulled for each shot fired. The trigger pull weight on the LCR ranges from approximately 7.5 to 11 pounds, depending on the model and caliber. The LCR also has a replaceable front sight and an adjustable rear sight to help improve accuracy.
The LCR is available with or without a Crimson Trace LaserGrip, which is a laser sighting system built into the grip of the revolver. The LaserGrip helps to improve accuracy and target acquisition in low-light situations, making the LCR an excellent choice for home defense or personal protection.
The LCR is also designed to be easy to maintain and clean. The revolver disassembles quickly and easily, allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance. The LCR also comes with a soft case and a cable lock for added safety and security.
In conclusion, the Ruger LCR is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a lightweight, compact revolver for personal defense. With its unique design, durable construction, and innovative features, the LCR is a reliable and accurate revolver that is perfect for any situation.

Very pleased with my purchase of this LCR! The trigger is a bit stiff right off the bat, but softens with a little use. The sights are decent and with a little trigger control this revolver can be surprisingly accurate. As a revolver, it does not suffer f

February 7, 2019Best price I could find anywhere on this Ruger LCR 22LR. I thought Acadamy would be cheapest, but I bought this gun from Buds, along with LaserMax Laser Sights and Hi Viz sight, all still cheaper than the gun price alone at Acadamy.

February 1, 2019We have both this pistol and the S&W 43C and I can tell you the trigger pull is nearly identical. They are nearly identical for all perceived purposes of accuracy. But the 43C is lighter. What every one needs to ask themselves is that worth ~$180 more in

December 11, 2018It's okay, very hard trigger pull - it's no Smith, but it doesn't have a Smith price either.

August 28, 2018The Ruger LCR 22LR is a fun gun to shoot, it goes along with my LCR-357. I picked this up to replace a very unreliable Beretta 21A. I use this revolver as a plinker and to take along as a wood's gun (short-barreled kit gun). Mine is accurate, many complai

When I first handled this pistol, I really liked the way it felt in the hand. I delayed purchasing based on some of the poor reviews. Looking at those reviews in more detail, it appears those were for the LCR.
