About Magnum Research Baby Eagle II

Steel Frame The Baby of the Desert Eagle family offers an excellent handgun value and plenty of firepower. The grip design is exceptionally comfortable and well liked by shooters. Since 2008 the Baby Desert Eagle was no longer imported into the US, however beginning again in 2011 with the acquisition of Magnum Research by Kahr Arms we are excited to bring this popular firearm back to the US market. Trigger action of the Baby Desert Eagle pistol is double action/single action (DA/SA) and is available in three popular calibers (9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP) and several barrel lengths. The Baby Desert Eagle pistol is available in either a steel frame or a polymer frame with a black finish. The steel frames and slides are produced from high quality carbon steel with an attractive matte black oxide finish. Full size and semi-compact models feature a tactical rail for optional lasers and/or flashlights. All models come with a slide mounted decocking safety with dual levers and upgraded fixed combat sights with three white dots. The rear sight is well designed in appearance and is snag free.

Detailed Review

The Magnum Research Baby Eagle II is a semi-automatic pistol that was first introduced in 2009. It is made by Magnum Research, which is a subsidiary of Kahr Arms. This handgun is the second generation of the Baby Eagle line and has some notable improvements over its predecessor.

The Baby Eagle II is available in several calibers, including 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. It has a double-action/single-action trigger, which means the first trigger pull will be heavier than subsequent pulls. It also has a decocker, which allows you to safely lower the hammer without firing the gun.

The Baby Eagle II has a steel frame with polymer grips, which makes it sturdy yet lightweight. The slide is also made of steel and has a black oxide finish. The barrel is chrome-lined and has polygonal rifling, which can provide better accuracy and longer barrel life compared to traditional rifling.

This pistol has a 3-dot sight system that is easy to use and provides good visibility. It also has an accessory rail that allows you to attach lights or lasers for added versatility. The magazine capacity varies depending on the caliber, but it typically holds 10-14 rounds.

The ergonomics of the Baby Eagle II have been improved over the original Baby Eagle. The grip is more comfortable and has a better texture for a secure hold. The trigger guard has also been reshaped and enlarged for easier access, especially when wearing gloves.

The Baby Eagle II has received positive reviews for its reliability and accuracy. It is a popular firearm for both personal defense and recreational shooting. It has also been used by law enforcement and military units around the world.

In conclusion, the Magnum Research Baby Eagle II is a well-designed and reliable pistol that has improved upon its predecessor. Its features and performance make it a versatile firearm that can serve multiple purposes. Whether you are a seasoned shooter or a first-time buyer, the Baby Eagle II is definitely worth considering.

I liked this pistol right out of the box. Good weight in my hand, smooth action, kind of long trigger pull but that's normal for Magnum Research pistols.

Let me start out by saying I'm not a gun expert but I do know what I like. A little background on myself I was in the military and having to qualify on standard issue weapons. I was very hesitant on a side arm not made of steel. But I love this weapon. I

Desert Eagle 50 AE

Hands down the most fun I ever had shooting a pistol. Maybe not a good choice for the weak. Shoots a nice tight pattern. Super easy to break down and clean.

Desert Eagle 44 mag Burnt Bronze finish

This gun makes it easy to shoot the 44 mag without all the recoil. Make sure you use ammo with jacketed bullets, lead bullets will clog the action. And make sure your ammo is loaded with heavy bullets and maximum loads of powder or the action will not fun
