About Diamondback Firearms DB380EX

Diamondback Firearms is proud to present the DB380. A micro-compact .380 automatic pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB380 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol. A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp smooth, trigger pull. The DB380 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

Detailed Review

The Diamondback Firearms DB380EX is a compact, lightweight handgun designed for concealed carry. It is chambered in .380 ACP and features a polymer frame and stainless steel slide. The DB380EX is an updated version of the original DB380, with several improvements to its design and functionality.

One of the key features of the DB380EX is its size. With a barrel length of just 2.8 inches and an overall length of 5.26 inches, this gun is incredibly compact and easy to conceal. It weighs in at just 11 ounces unloaded, making it one of the lightest guns on the market. Despite its small size, the DB380EX is surprisingly comfortable to hold and shoot, thanks to its ergonomic grip and low recoil.

The DB380EX also has a number of safety features that make it an ideal choice for concealed carry. It has a striker-fired trigger system that requires a deliberate pull to release, reducing the risk of accidental discharge. The gun also has a loaded chamber indicator and a magazine disconnect safety. Additionally, the DB380EX has a slide lock that prevents the slide from moving when the magazine is removed, allowing for safe and easy disassembly and cleaning.

Another notable feature of the DB380EX is its sights. The gun has fixed, low-profile front and rear sights that are easy to acquire and provide a clear sight picture. The rear sight is also drift-adjustable, allowing for precision adjustments to windage. Overall, the sights are well-suited to the gun's intended purpose as a defensive handgun.

Finally, the DB380EX comes with a number of accessories that make it even more versatile. These include two six-round magazines, a nylon holster, and a hard plastic case. The magazines have extension plates that provide a full grip on the gun, making it easier to control and shoot accurately. The holster is designed for both right- and left-handed shooters and allows for quick and easy access to the gun. Overall, the DB380EX is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, compact handgun for concealed carry.

There are a lot of negative reviews for this gun and admittedly it is one picky beast. However, with a few small mods and discernment with ammo purchases it is an amazing little pocket gun that I have to be very accurate, simple to shoot (as long as you d

Great little pocket pistol for CCL holders. I use this pistol during hot months in the south because it fits nicely in the pocket of my cargo shorts with no printing. Probably good for a ladies purse as well. I had considered a Luger LCP as an alternative
