Detailed Review

Bersa SPS is a popular series of 9mm handguns developed by the Argentine firearms manufacturer, Bersa. The SPS (Special Purpose Squad) was designed specifically for law enforcement and military use, but has become popular among civilian gun enthusiasts as well.

The Bersa SPS has a streamlined and ergonomic design, with a black polymer frame and a stainless steel slide. The frame features an aggressive grip texture and interchangeable backstraps to provide a comfortable and customizable grip for shooters of all hand sizes.

One key feature of the SPS series is the inclusion of an integral Picatinny rail on the dust cover. This allows users to easily attach accessories such as lights, lasers or other tactical equipment for increased versatility and customization.

The Bersa SPS uses a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger system. The DA trigger pull is long and heavy, providing added safety when carrying the firearm with a round in the chamber. The SA trigger pull is lighter and shorter, allowing for more precise shot placement during rapid fire sequences.

The SPS series also includes a number of safety features, including a firing pin block, manual safety, and loaded chamber indicator. The manual safety is ambidextrous, making it accessible for both left- and right-handed shooters.

The barrel on the Bersa SPS is 4.25 inches long, providing a good balance of accuracy and portability. The sights are fixed, with a three-dot system for easy aiming and quick target acquisition. The magazine capacity is 17 rounds, providing ample firepower in any situation.

In terms of performance, the Bersa SPS is a reliable and accurate handgun. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry and maneuver, while its sturdy construction ensures durability even under heavy use. The trigger pulls are consistent and smooth, and the recoil is manageable even during rapid fire.

Overall, the Bersa SPS is a versatile and effective handgun that is suitable for a range of applications, from law enforcement and military use to self-defense and recreational shooting. With its sleek design, ergonomic grip, and integrated Picatinny rail, the SPS offers both style and functionality for shooters of all levels.
