About Uberti 1847 Walker
Developed by Captain Samuel Walker and produced by Colt in 1847, the Walker Revolver was the largest gun manufactured by the company. It also held the largest powder charge of any black-powder revolver. Only about 1,000 of the originals were produced, making the Walker one of the most sought-after firearms by collectors. Color case-hardened steel frame. Brass trigger guard.

September 2, 2018Beautiful big iron
Very heavy pistol nearly half the length of my arm, I can see why they called them "horse pistols." Excellent finish on the steel and the wood, and the cylinder has a nice print on it. The only complaint I could make is that the sharp edges had

November 13, 2017Great Gun
Beautiful weapon. A real heavyweight, which makes the muzzle a bit heavy, but makes for a mild recoil. A real hoot to shoot. Uberti seems to have solved the loading lever problem, with a beefier spring, without altering the makeup of the replica. Had no p

June 10, 2017Great place to buy Uberti
I have bought 3 Colt Uberti Walkers from Cabelas over last 15 years. Two this year. I appreciate Cabelas customer service on returns with BP firearms. Though never had any! Remember if the cylinder seems tight you will have to tap wedge a little. Often th

December 5, 2016Still a shooter after 22 years.
I purchased four of these revolvers back in 1994. Within the first month I sold one, returned one because the base pin became loose, and also returned the 3rd one because the latch that holds up the loading lever broke off during fire. The forth one I sti

It was after having an opportunity to fire a friend's reproduction .44 caliber 1847 Colt Walker revolver that I decided to buy two of them and use them in Cowboy Action Shooting; Josey Wales style. When the revolvers arrived I was in the hospital recoveri

GOOD QUALITY, VERY FAIR PRICE. ONLY PROBLEM IS WHEN FIRING, THE LOADING LEVER DROPS DOWN, I USE A RUBBERBAND TO HOLD IT UP. SHOOTS GREAT AND RIGHT ON TARGET!!

January 21, 2016First magnum
The Walker was truly the first magnum. There are many replicas out there. To me the Uberti Walker will offer the most authentic experience. You’ll know exactly what it was like for Walker and his Rangers, well maybe not exactly, but you’ll know what it’ll

November 26, 2015Great Quality, Very Accurate, Lots of Fun To Shoot
Quality is very good and the gun is extremely fun to shoot nothing like touching off 6 rounds loaded with the cylinders full of powder and I like the .457 round ball it provides more bearing surface against the rifling for better accuracy. Typically use P
