August 8, 2018Pietta 1873 SAA .22 LR 5.5 in.
Beautiful workmanship, comparable to Uberti. Deep charcoal bluing with single-piece wood grip. No "patent" markings. Only markings are Pietta proofs and Cabela's import markings on the underside of the barrel. Silky action and smooth trigger wit

January 25, 2018Great Firearm
I just picked up one of these recently after watching a few Hikok45 videos on cowboy-action revolvers. What can I say? This gun is outstanding. For under $500, its rare to see a firearm made with this level of quality, and if you're interested in old-west

January 6, 2018I like this weapon
I have had this pistol for a few years bought it from Cabella's You can't go wrong for the money.Shoots straight works like a no frills SA revolver should.I would have given 5 stars except the ejector rod is a little uncomfortable with cheap ammo.

June 6, 2017Looks Good, Poor performance
Fired about thirty rounds through it and the gun quit firing. Something is broken in the firing mechanism that keeps the firing pin from operating.

October 18, 2016Not like any other single action
Trigger is to far forward in the trigger guard makes the gun feel more like a double action than a single six . Not like the weapon pictured nor the weapon photo on the box the gun was in when purchased.

September 4, 2016One Solid Revolver
I bought one of these yesterday and shot it today. Pietta must have fixed the front sight because mine shoots dead on. The fit and finish is excellent. It is beautifully blued. It is all steel and feels very very solid. It is my new favorite 22 revolver.

January 31, 2015Disappointing
Poor quality control. Shoots way low. Would have to grind off most of front sight to bring it up to point of aim. Rear barrel face is very rough. No chamfer at bore. Lead splatters everywhere inside of frame. I do not recommend this gun.

July 19, 2014May Need Some Tweaking
Bought this hefty piece of iron in early Fall of 2013 at the Green Bay, Wisconsin store with the 4 3/4 inch barrel. As in other reviews, mine also shot about 6-8 inches low and about 3 inches to the left at 25 yards with the mag cylinder. Had to turn the
