Very nice pistol!! I guess I lucked out because mine came with checkered mainspring housing and front strap. The only thing that bothered me is that the slide is polished so smooth that it is hard to cycle the action to load a round. My hand tends to slip

This gun is great. It is indeed the Standard Manufacturing 1911 Case Colored model. Bud's has the Manufacturer listed as "other" when I purchased it. The only lack luster experience with the gun was the stock magazines. They wouldn't allow the slide lock
