Sig Sauer's Legion series has a Legion Gray PVD finish on the slide and frame which has a reduced and contoured elite beavertail and is relieved under the trigger guard (XFIVE Contour). Legion also has enhanced checkering on front strap and under trigger guard, and custom, high checkered G-10 grips. The Legion series features a Master Shop Super Match Flat Trigger, enhanced action with SRT, a solid steel guide rod, and is topped off with Sig Sauer Electro-Optics X-Ray3 High Visibility Day/Night Sights.

The P226 Legion SAO is absolutely incredible! The trigger has to be the best factory trigger I've ever used. The gun itself is absolutely beautiful. $1,200 is definitely worth it. SIG Sauer truly out did themselves on this one!

Buds shipped this out the next day and my FFL got it 2 days later. The SAO trigger is amazing and it makes it hard to go back to my other guns. Beautiful gun and already received the extra Legion series stuff you get from Sig.

I purchased the P226 SAO because it has a greater capacity than the 1911's I have. The trigger is almost as good as the 1911's. In addition to the three 15 round mags I bought two 18 round mags from Mec Gar which makes shooting the HR218 course much easie

Trigger versus DASA
Marty, it is my opinion that the DASA will have a better SA trigger pull over the SAO. They are so close on the Legion that most would not readily notice the difference but, the DASA has a cleaner "break" and much less take up till break as well.
SAO or DA/SA
Hey Eric, I hope you got it figured out. This one is the SAO pistol per the part number. There were multiple other reviews since that first review as I'm sure you are aware that show it as SAO. Wouldn't hurt to call Buds though just to verify what you are
