Barrel: Machined from bar stock with 7 lands and grooves having a 161 right hand twist. Receiver: 7075T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy, machined from bar stock. Grip/Frame: Made from Zytel polymer, with ergonomic finger grooves and an integral "RE-COIL CUSHION" on the backstrap. Recoil Spring System: All steel, fully encapsulated for ease of disassembly and reassembly. Slide Lock/Release: Steel with a Zytel over molded polymer extension for ease of operation. 3 dot sight system: Steel rear sight, adjustable for windage only with locking screw. Hammer firing system: Double action only, internal hammer with inertial firing pin to prevent accidental discharge if dropped. Good for the price
Picked one up yesterday. No gun no matter how expensive is a 100% reliable out the box. At 200 dollars I can tweak the mags if I have to and still have be happy. Stainless and polymer. Nothing to worry about corrosion wise except mags and springs.

New manufacturer on the block but good one!
I bought this CPX-2 mainly due to the dirt cheap lrice for a US made gun and a double stack (10 round) gun. It is very accurate and recoil is minimal. Super-easy disassembly!! Wish all my semi-auto’s were this simple. Very good buy. It is double act
