The slide is machined from stainless steel with a Zytel overmolded polymer extension for ease of operation. It has 3-dot sights with a windage-adjustable rear. First of all fast shipping from Bud's as usual. I purchased this gun for my wife who fell in love with it because it fit her hand so well and , well, it's purple. She has been using a .38 revolver with 2" barrel because she didn't like semi=auto handguns
