About Ruger EC9S
This is the Ruger EC9S, a "New & Improved" version of the highly-successful LC9S pistol. The EC9S is a striker-fired semi-auto designed for the concealed carry market. It uses the same magazines as the LC9S, with the biggest obvious difference between the two beings the fact that the sights on the EC9S are machined directly into the slide. The EC9S has a slim, lightweight and compact design, with glare-reducing rear facing cocking serrations and a finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the 7-round magazine for comfort and improved grip. Safety features include integrated trigger safety, manual safety, magazine disconnect and an inspection port that allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber. Absolutely a fantastic SA pistol, and tremendous deal. Size is a nice “shmedium” size, meaning easy to carry but not small, with a nice snappy manual safety, awesome trigger, and good reset. Great shooting without excessive recoil “kick”.

Great little pistol, I am very happy with it. It was pretty dry out of the box and I had a misfeed, one, in the first 150 rounds. Sprayed it with some Ballistol and have had no problem with the next 200 rounds.

I have several hundred rounds through it now with only 1 failure to eject. It shoots good. The trigger takes some getting accustomed to. It is my every day pocket gun. I like it a lot.

I am pleased with the ec9s. The grip is a little small. And the kick does cause the pistol to hit your hand nd slightly uncomfortable until you get used to it. Great gun for the money. I ordered a new magazine off of eBay for $16 and it looks just like
