Excellent pistol, just enought bark and recoil to make you notice! I like this Ruger!! Perfect size to shoot the .30 Carbine and not that much recoil or noise. I wish I would of bought on of these 20 years ago!!!

Barring the oddball handgun caliber of this gun, there's not a whole lot that can be said about the Ruger Blackhawk. I have shot these in numerous calibers over the years from 22 to 44 mag in the Super Blackhawk. All have been straight and reliable. Mine
