The Kimber Desert Warrior is a well made quality pistol. Awesome Trigger pull. I've put several hundred rounds through mine with no problems. One of the Kimber magazines that came with mine wont load to full capacity. I ended up get some Wilson Combat 47D

Nice tough finish, handles well, accurate & reliable. I use this for my home defense gun with a surefire x300 & Green Lasermax. It is heavier than average 1911 which is nice to keep the muzzle down. It will go through FMJ, JHP, reloads ammo like no other
