Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want 'em. The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. This was my 3rd purchase from Buds. If you want a firearm in a hurry, do not take the cash discount because it is held for 5 days before processing. The rough rider arrived in great condition to my FFL. The fit and finish are ok for a $182 dollar revolver

This honestly was a great deal. .22LR/.22WMR, 9 shot cylinders with a 6.5 inch barrel for $182.00! Adjustable sights to boot! Shooting 1inch groups at 10 yards (I am in need of glasses). Fit and finish are nice, the gun has a wonderfully solid feel to it.

the NJ restrictions (at Buds ) does not say anything about melting point laws If NJ has melting point laws the Rough rider is Illegal if they don then it is legal I suggest asking your local FFL to be 100% sure
