Chambered in the hard-hitting .40 S&W, The FNS -40 offers the simplicity of double-action striker-fired operation with fully ambidextrous operating controls for ease of use with either hand and from any shooting position. Both the slide and barrel are stainless steel with front serrations, while the checkered polymer frame has two interchangeable backstraps and lanyard eyelets. The MIL-STD 1913 under-frame rail accepts tactical lights and lasers.

I kind of liked it. I am a Glock fan and thought I'd try this out. I will stick with my Glock. This FN was pretty accurate and never jammed over a 100 round box.

Nice gun. Trigger is kinda spongey, but OK. Has interchangeable backstraps, but this gun is not for small hands.

Was pleased with Buds as always. Only have shot my FN 40 cal a few times but have had no issues and it is the most accurate pistol I own. I consider it very manageable as far as recoil is concerned. Over all very satisfied with Buds and the pistol.
