Being a former member of the USMC pistol team in HI, I new from the first shot I was going to love it. My only problem was picking which eyebrow on the gnat I wanted to take out. After 50 rounds it was smooth as glass.

Colt no longer uses the Cerakote "FDE" finish. The entire series of M45A1 USMC-issued guns were returned to Colt due to flaking of the Cerakote. The new finish is a surface treatment.
