This is a real sleeper. Bought for an easy carry personal and hunting weapon in bear country. It’s all metal and solidly constructed. The porting appears to allow .357 mag with minimal operator pain. I was dubious as this is my first Charter Arms weapon.

Tested the new Mag Pug with 150 rounds of .38 sp and 20 rounds of .357 magnum: No hangups, goes boom as expected. Fires true at 7-10 yards, porting minimizes recoil. Not crazy about the grips, will replace w/wood suitable for carry. Overall the Mag Pug se
