Why does this model have only 10rd magazines?
The pistols are exactly the same Loual and will take either 10rd or 17rd. The 10rd mag package is so this pistol can be sold to folks in states that have capacity restrictions.
CA compliant?
No, the Beretta APX is not currently on the CA Approved Roster. Check back for CA's revised Roster after Jan 2018 here : http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/
model difference
Hi Kenneth, the pistols themselves are identical. I would get the JAXF922 (LE version) as it's the same price and usually comes with 3 Magazines on the Law Enforcement version and 2 Magazines on the Standard JAXF920. All other specifications are the same.
