About Armscor XT Series
Rock Island Armory has taken the 1911 from a basic one-caliber design to a well-optioned, high quality, multi-caliber design over the past three decades with the development of the XT series. Intelligently engineered with a pinned solid state barrel design and delayed blow back slide that rivals accuracy, this series includes a 22lr tactical, 22lr /45 ACP combo and 22lr standard option. The XT series is backed by Rock Island Armory’s closely-managed, hand-fitted quality process and created in 4140 steel.

I have several 1911s, and the RIA 22 magnum 1911, is one the one that I didn't have in my collection. Over all nice gun, a little different to disassemble from the normal 1911s. I haven't shot it yet. It arrived very fast, 3 days from the purchase date.

I own a pmr 30 and it can be touchy as far as ammo. Have been reading about the RIA XT 22 mag for over a year. Decided to try it out. Took it to the range ran 500 rounds through it. It groups well. Tested at 7, 10, 15, 20, and 25 yrds. Sights could better
