Peyton, it is rather heavy. The specs on the Mosquito list trigger pull at 14lbs and 7lbs - DA and SA.

Yes, just bought this for my brother in laws birthday in June. Its a nice low priced pistol. Little ammo picky but otherwise a nice German made gun.
