Bolt remains open after last round is fired. If magazine and chamber are both loaded opening action will result in ejecting shell from chamber and cycling new shell from magazine into the chamber. The shotgun shoots great and feels like a solid, well built shotgun. Only draw back is it does not have a tool to change out the chokes and there is no marking which choke is what?

Overall a good gun. Shoots and handles well with less recoil than any pump. Has trouble cycling light loads likely because it needs to be shot a bunch. Recoil pad is just so-so and I added a limb saver slip on to reduce recoil further. I like the fiber op

I use this gun for dove hunting and clay shooting, light weight and shoots well. have had around 400 rounds through it with no problems.the only thing I didn't like is the finish. the stain scratched in one place on butt. its not bad but like a lot of gun

Thomas, the specs are identical with the 98602 having Sling Swivel Mounts and the 24102 Not have them. The difference in cost is more likely due to the 98602 having many more units in stock as Buds prices are directly tied to stock level.
