I have bought a lot of Taurus pistols but this one I never shot it but did not like the fact slide to frame fit was sloppy magazine rattled when you shook the gun so I sold the P.O.S an got my money back so being cheap on a pistol not always good ... buds

I wanted a full-size 9mm pistol with a decocker. I couldn't afford the $600 CZ 75BD, so this will fill the position for a while. Great gun, a steal at $235. So far I've got around 700 rounds through it with no issues.

Shoots great, love the safety features on this gun. Haven't had any issues whatsoever, only thing is. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY 9MM MAGS, anywhere. If I could go back, I would have got the 40 cal instead, I believe you can find those magazines pretty easy. I

Everyone that has shot this gun including two lefties love it. Nice grip options , functional with 500 RDS no feed jams or stove pipes. Very accurate out of the box shallow 6 O'Clock hold with 115, 124 true 6 hold at 25 yrds. Trigger on single action nice

So the 809 shoots GREAT. 300 rounds the first day not one issue. feels good in the hand, I had zero issues staying on target. I ordered this wanting a training gun that I don't mind having folks beat up. I own an old (2005?) 24/7 that has yet to fail once
