Put in an X-Tension (USPAT7191556) magazine, and you have a 19 round full-sized 9mm pistol. Use the flush-fitting 13 round magazine, and you have a Compact. Magazine compatibility
Mike, no, XD and XDm mags for the 45 caliber ARE interchangeable(the 45XD/XDM mags are the same). XD and XDm mags in the other calibers are not interchangeable.
Match Grade Barrel
according to springfield yes they do but I doubt you would ever see any accuracy difference between the XDM (match grade barrel) and the equivalent XD (non match grade barrel)
