The P229 is a solid hand gun and it is easy to stay on target. I really like the de-cocking feature and double action. I have only taken to the range a few times but so far so good.

Best Carry Firearm EVER
Have tested nearly every candidate carry firearm and have not found a better one than the Sig P229 in 40 S&W. Personal choice is the Stainless Elite due to the Short Reset Trigger (SRT), and the extra checking makes the 229 Sig have a more solid grip,

Just got my 229 in the 357 sig model. Love it!!! Sig is one of the best handguns i own. Between my wife and i I, We own 3 sigs and 3 glocks. My P229 and P226 are my every day carries on/off the job. Would definately recommend.
