I’ve been a Ruger fan for years and this birdshead Vaquero doesn’t disappoint. It’s a bit heavy, but that reduces the felt recoil. Buds delivered very quickly and at a very reasonable price. I’m a happy camper.

Very nice gun. Quality is great. only regret is not buying it in .45 Colt instead. The lead 45 ACP's I load for my 1911 had some headspacing issues with this gun. This probably not a problem with jacketed bullets but I only shoot lead reloads.

Really a nice pistol. It has a matte stainless finish, not a high gloss and I think it looks great. It is built like a tank. The birdshead grip feels really good in the hand and that struck me as unusual as I have a large hand. It is just a cool pistol th
