Detailed Review
The Ruger LCP II is a small, lightweight, and reliable pistol that is perfect for concealed carry. It has a number of improvements over its predecessor, the original LCP, including better ergonomics, improved trigger, and better sights. Here are some of the key features of this pistol:
- Size: The Ruger LCP II is incredibly small, measuring just 5.17 inches long and 3.71 inches tall. It is also very lightweight, weighing in at just 10.6 ounces, making it easy to carry all day.
- Caliber: The LCP II is chambered in .380 ACP, which is a popular caliber for concealed carry due to its manageable recoil and small size.
- Capacity: The LCP II has a 6+1 capacity, meaning it can hold six rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. While this may seem low compared to larger pistols, it is typical for a gun of this size and weight.
- Trigger: The trigger on the LCP II has been vastly improved over the original LCP. It has a smoother pull and a shorter reset, making it easier to shoot accurately.
- Sights: Another area where the LCP II has been improved is the sights. It now has a larger front sight and a wider rear sight, making it easier to acquire a sight picture and aim accurately.
- Ergonomics: The LCP II has a more ergonomic grip than the original LCP, with more texture and a better shape for your hand. This makes it much easier to hold onto during recoil and shoot accurately.
- Safety: The LCP II has a trigger safety and a manual thumb safety. While some people may prefer a pistol without a manual safety, it can give you an added level of security when carrying the gun.
- Accessories: There are a number of accessories available for the LCP II, including holsters, magazines, and grips. This makes it easy to customize the gun to your specific needs and preferences.
- Price: The LCP II is priced affordably, making it accessible to a wide range of people who may be looking for a reliable and easy-to-carry pistol for personal protection.
Overall, the Ruger LCP II is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a small, lightweight, and reliable concealed carry pistol. Its improved trigger, sights, and ergonomics make it a pleasure to shoot, while its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry all day. If you're in the market for a reliable and affordable concealed carry pistol, the LCP II is definitely worth considering.

December 4, 2019The LCP II is the ultimate pocket carry gun. It is lightweight, but does an admirable job of controlling recoil given its size. The sights are better than on similar guns from Taurus or Kel-Tec, but I still needed to paint my front sight to get the most

My almost everyday carry pocket auto...Prolly have ran 400-500 rounds through it, both FMJ and lots of carry grade JHP with out a single failure to feed, etc. Surprisingly, when using the sights, it shoots to point of aim...Glad I have one.

July 9, 2019Pistol broke the first day at the range after 20 rounds or so. I was disappointed to say the least. I saw hundreds and hundreds of great reviews for this gun so I bought one. Pistol was sent back to Ruger and the Ruger customer service was good and quick
