About MAB E
The MAB model E was basically down-sized Model D. It was made by MAB (Manufacture d'Armes de Bayonne) from 1949 to 1964. They were imported in the USA by Western Arms Company. Those pistols have both grip panels engraved WAC and the right side of the slide is marked "Made In France for WAC". The left side of the slide is marked "Pistolet Automatique MAB Brevette / Modele E".
