CZ 712 is tried-and-true gas operated semi-automatic built on a lightweight alloy receiver. Accepting 2 and 3-inch shells, it is an all-arounder, a great choice for upland game, waterfowl or clays. The barrel on the 712 is chrome-lined and has a matte black hard chrome exterior that will resist corrosion for many seasons in the field. Fit with a Turkish walnut stock, the G2 version adds new laser-engraved checkering, right-hand plam swell as well as a barrel lock-ring to make assembly easier.

Nice , but I did expect it to be smoother than it actually is. The piston should take up more of the recoil. In honesty , I have not used it enough , maybe it will settle later with more use.

Great shotgun for the price or a couple hundreds more. I would give 5 stats but there are some finish issues on the stock. I sent one back because the stock was scratched on both sides. The 2nd gun I received had some finish issues as well, but I did not
