About ATI Omni Hybrid P4 ATIGOMX556P4B

OMNI HYBRID MAXX P4B features a fully-patented metal reinforced polymer upper receiver along with a fully-patented metal reinforced polymer lower receiver. The Omni Hybrid lower features a patented hammer and trigger pin retainment system, preventing movement from the hammer and trigger pin during firing. The Omni Hybrid also features our patented over-molded metal inserts, which reinforce the buffer tube housing and rear takedown pin as well as reinforce the front take down pins. This allows for metal-on-metal contact with both the buffer tube as well as the rear takedown pin thus increasing strength and durability from recoil and consistent firing. The P4B also features a revolutionary Nano Composite Parts Kit. This kit includes the hammer, trigger, disconnector, takedown pins, safety selector, magazine release and detents all made from nano composite material that is just as strong as metal components but at only 1/2 the weight. yes it will take and work just fine with the .223 rounds this gun can use either 5.56 NATO or .223 ammo its chambered for the hotter (higher pressure ) 5.56 NATO round so is safe to shoot with the .223 (lower pressure round) here is a good article on the

Unknown 5 years ago

Nicholas, the Barrel is actually stamped 5.56NATO so both 5.56 and .223 rounds can be fired without issue. If the barrel were stamped .223 then 5.56 ammunition would not be recommended.

Brian, yes Sir. This Pistol is as legal as Florida oranges. No worries.

Are the parts interchangeable?

Unknown 5 years ago

James - Yes indeed. They are definitely interchangeable to other uppers/lowers as you might want. The poly receivers are pretty tough though - I was surprised. But mine held up very well. I finally sold it after putting some 5000+ rounds through it.

Unknown 5 years ago

James, yes you could Sir. It uses standard spec AR internals.

Unknown 5 years ago

yes as long as the has the brace (you can even remove the brace) it is a handgun unless you put a stock on it then it becomes a SBR and require a tax stamp and paperwork SBR

legal or not

Unknown 5 years ago

Randy Dean, This pistol as configured is legal in MI. MI is fairly restriction free. This pistol is just short enough at 26". The following are prohibited: Pistols with an overall length greater than 26” o For example, check the overall length of AR / AK

Unknown 5 years ago

Randy Dean - it is legal in MI in the present configuration, however should you install a 'stock' designed for shoulder use, you would have then changed it into a SBR. As it is now, it is a pistol, due to the brace installed.

Unknown 5 years ago

Randy Dean, it is legal in MI since it has a Brace instead of a Shoulder Stock and is classified as a regular Pistol.

Asked by dev02 5 years ago

Is this consider a SBR?

Unknown 5 years ago

If a rifle has a "stock" … not a brace … and has a barrel under 16" then it would be considered a SBR (short barrel rifle) and would require the government paper work and fees to be owned legally. It's all about barrel length. 16 is the magic number.

Unknown 5 years ago

CHONG, This is a pistol. If it is modified to remove the pistol brace and install a rifle stock this firearm would become an SBR. You would have to file paperwork with ATF and pay $200 tax stamp BEFORE you could do that modification.

Unknown 5 years ago

Chong, no Sir. Since it has a Brace instead of a Shoulder Stock, it is classified as a regular Pistol.
