I am not a mat stainless person but this Taurus looks good. It has the weight and feel of a Smith but at half the cost. Cylinder is not sloppy and opens and closes easily. I have purchased a set of Hogue grips but I must say the stock grips are comfort

I got this because i just wanted a 44. I love the trigger pull and the porting on it really takes away from the pounding recoil. It is as accurate as you are I shot it off sandbags and it put 3 rds touching at 50 yards open sight. I love this revolver.

the raging bull is a much stronger heavier gun ( it can be had in the 454 Casull) the RB will be much easier to shoot in 44 mag due to the weight and it is the Taurus top of the line revolver
Hi Talbert, the 444 is built on a larger/thicker frame with heavier barrel and is capable of handling higher pressure 44Mag loads if shot on a regular basis with less wear to the frame. Just think of the 444 as a slightly larger beefed up 44 model.
