Detailed Review

The Stoeger Industries Uplander 31155 is a traditional side-by-side double barrel shotgun that offers reliability, durability and classic aesthetics. It is designed for upland bird hunting, trap shooting, sporting clays and other outdoor activities.

The gun is built on a box-lock frame made from machined steel, which is strong enough to withstand the rigors of heavy use in various weather conditions. The barrels are made from high-quality carbon steel, and they feature a polished blued finish that protects against rust and corrosion while enhancing the gun's overall appearance.

At 26 inches long, the barrels are shorter than most shotguns, making the Uplander 31155 more compact and maneuverable in tight spaces. They are also choked with modified and improved cylinder constriction, allowing hunters to shoot a variety of loads at different ranges with accuracy and consistency.

The shotgun features a classic English-style straight grip stock and splinter fore-end, both of which are made from A-grade walnut wood that showcases the natural grain patterns of the wood. The wood is also hand-checkered for a secure and comfortable grip while firing.

The Uplander 31155 uses a single trigger with an automatic safety, which makes it easier and safer for shooters to engage and reload quickly. The shotgun's overall weight is 6.5 pounds, which is relatively lightweight, yet balanced enough to reduce felt recoil and facilitate accurate follow-up shots.

In conclusion, the Stoeger Industries Uplander 31155 is a versatile and reliable shotgun that delivers consistent performance and classic style. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a beginner, this shotgun is an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts who demand quality, durability and affordability.

Fun gun, but some major issues

I've had the 12 gauge sxs for around 10 years and its had a lot of rounds through it. Mostly with no issues. Lots of fun to shoot and show off. However there have been two major failures.1) The firing pin blocks have a tendency to unscrew on their own. If

Good sxs shotgun

It is a no frills shotgun. The wood furniture leaves a little to be desired but the gun shoots well. I have used magnum loads to shoot geese, and took it clay shooting. No issues.

gets the job done - sometimes

Good gun for the money. Heavy and clunky but workhorse. Had an issue with firing pins sticking and not striking hard enough. Cleaned out gunk and works fine now. Overall, happy with the purchase

Highly underrated

I’ve had this shotgun for about four years now in the 20ga version. It is my absolute “go-to” that comes out of the safe when going on a quail or pheasant hunt. I bought it knowing what it was but planned on capitalizing on its strengths. -it’s a no frill

Nice Shotgun

I have had my Stoeger Uplander side-by-side in 20 ga for over 10 years and no complaints! Nice affordable no frills shotgun that gets the job done. Love the double triggers, used it Chucker and Pheasant hunting. Fun to shoot and a great looking gun!

Classic shotgun

Got the uplander 12 guage with 2 triggers about 6 months ago and it's just great. I'm an absolute sucker for the side by side look so this gun was the best option for me. Used it duck hunting last season and took down quite a few. It's only misfired a few

Very Poor Quality

I purchased a 20ga. Uplander from Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, AZ. The first time using the firearm with 3" shells it broke. The triggers and safety failed to function properly. It was mailed back to Stoeger by Bass Pro Shops under warranty. My replacemen
