Detailed Review

Savage Arms has been in the industry for over 125 years, and they have acquired a reputation for crafting remarkable rifles that are both accurate and reliable. Their latest release is the Savage A22 Magnum, a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 Magnum, which is aimed at the small game hunters, target shooters, and plinkers.

The A22 Magnum features a black synthetic stock that is durable and resistant to the elements, making it great for outdoor use. The rifle has a 21-inch carbon steel barrel that is button-rifled, which ensures incredible accuracy and consistency. The barrel is also threaded, making it easy to attach a suppressor or muzzle brake.

The rifle's dual-lug bolt is incredibly smooth, allowing for quick and easy cycling of rounds. The bolt has an oversized knob that is easy to grip, which facilitates faster operation. The bolt features a cocking indicator that lets you know when the rifle is loaded, and it locks open when the last round is fired, making reloading quick and easy.

The A22 Magnum has a detachable rotary magazine that holds ten rounds of .22 Magnum ammunition. The magazine releases smoothly and drops free with the push of a button, making reloading quick and easy. The rifle's magazine well is oversized, accommodating larger magazines if needed.

The rifle's trigger is adjustable, and it can be set between 2.5 and 6 pounds. The trigger pull is incredibly smooth, and it breaks clean, enabling you to achieve consistent accuracy. Additionally, the A22 Magnum's trigger guard is oversized, accommodating gloved hands without any issues.

The A22 Magnum's accuracy is enhanced by its adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight. These sights are incredibly easy to use, and they allow for quick and precise aiming. The rifle also comes with a Picatinny rail on top of the receiver, giving you plenty of space to mount your preferred optic.

The Savage A22 Magnum is a lightweight and versatile rifle that is ideal for small game hunting, target shooting, and plinking. The rifle is easy to operate, and its accuracy and reliability are unmatched. If you're in the market for an affordable and high-quality .22 Magnum rifle, the Savage A22 Magnum is definitely worth considering.

Great rifle and great price. Took it out of the box at the range and ran around 10 different kinds of ammo from 1050 FPS to 1650 FPS and it never skipped a beat.

Came with open sights but definitely not suited for it - very awkward trying to line up with them, at least compared to my 60 or Marlin 39. Seems the gun was definitely made to install optics. In fact, it arrived with no tap screws in the receiver, just 4

Sights are to low can't get a sight picture. After a couple hundred rounds the sights completely fell off the gun, lucky I found them. Also receiver is tapped for a scope but NO plugs, holes just open to fill with dirt. But I guess I'll mount an optic aft

Sweet rifle right out of the box. LOVE that Accu-trigger. Have tried High and Standard velocity ammunition at 50 feet Indoor. If it goes bang this gun will shoot it accurately. Can't beat this gun for the cost.

Purchased my Savage A22M22WMR from Buds because of previous dealings. Again, I was not disappointed. My FFL had the weapon almost before their shipping had posted that the weapon was being shipped. I give "Buds" a 5 Star rating once again for a good group

Great Gun

Bought this gun and after sighting in, I took it with me prairie dog hunting. Accurate out to 150 yds. If you keep the bolt oiled it does not jam. Great gun.

This is the second Savage rifle I have purchased in the last six months and I love it. I needed a rifle that was easy to use and inexpensive to shoot. The A22 is excellent for my needs. The A22 I purchased is the semi-auto version. It also comes in a bolt
