Great Gun

Bought this gun and after sighting in, I took it with me prairie dog hunting. Accurate out to 150 yds. If you keep the bolt oiled it does not jam. Great gun.

Savage is right on target

I've used Savage rifles for the last 40 years. The only disappointment I've had is the Savage B-mag with the way the bolt works.Savage nailed this one(A22) and the A17 with the delayed blowback. It's worked ever time and shoots very accurate. (Dime size ho

Horribly Twisted Weaver Scope Mounts

This is the second sorry experience I have had with a Savage product, the first being a poorly assembled spare rifle magazine. Given the price of this item, I bought an appropriately priced set of Weaver one-inch rings and a Cabelas rimfire scope. The sig

A17 Outstanding Gun

Do not pay attention to the bad reviews. You will be missing out on a great little gun. I love mine. At 100 yards I am putting six shot grouping in target and can cover them with a quarter. The clip is not a problem if you are smart enough to put it in un

Tack-driver/finicky magazine

Had this one for about a month NO FTE's or FTF.Shoots quarter sized groups at 100 yds using CCI or Hornady ammo. Magazine is a little finicky to seat have to hear it click, but once seated it works fine. Find it easier to seat with bolt locked open like o

Defective Gun

the ammo clip falls out of this gun after your first shot. I tried shooting it 3-4 times and the clip fell out of the gun each time. I returned it to the store and got the bolt-action gun that I'm hoping will at least work correctly. Was really disappoint

The title pretty much sums up my experience with this gun. I was very excited to find this gun in my local BassPro and bought the gun and 200 rounds of ammo. My day at the range with my new A17 did not turn out quite like I expected. I loaded up the magaz
