Very pleased with this rifle. A couple of things to note if you're thinking about buying one: - in .223, it has a 1-9" twist. so it'll shoot the 64-69 g bullets. - does not have the accustock, has the old-style savage tuppeware stock. very flimsy, but hey

Hi, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but the 1/2 X 28 threads with thread cap would not come of. Finally got cap of and now threads are ruined. Going to ship it back to Savage and I am sure they will make it right. Nice rifle good price.
