I have a 783 in. 308 it is a great gun. It has shoots very good groups for the price you are paying. The only thing I don't like about the gun is the scope. The scope that comes with the gun is not good. When I went to sight it in I used a box and a half

I am a new shooter and really didn't know where to start or what caliber or level of rifle to buy. I can tell you that this is a really good rifle for price vs quality. With time spent at the range and some experienced help, this 783 is hittig 1' targets

Good gun. Break in as rem recommends, ten shoot-clean cycles with good bore rod/jags etc.Trigger breaks light producing moa groups. Smaller eject port requires loading from magazine. Gun is inexpensive but with attention to polishing bore it shoots except
