This rifle is just as accurate, and as well designed and made as my original Remington model 788. The free scope has no brand name, it just says "China". It was OK until I learned what a good rifle I had, when I bought a Leupold for it. Enough said.

Buds was great easy to deal with. Gun shoots great but scope is junk. Bolts on scope rings were loose but scope needs to be replaced anyway. Let's say this scope is ok for hunting with use to 100 yds but not long range. Haven't shot gun with new scope yet
