Mossberg Model 500 All-Purpose Field

A great buy!

I have had my 500 for five months and it has been a great shotgun for the money. If your looking for a new 12 gauge or just a new shotgun then the Mossberg 500 is a great choice!

Was hoping to purchase this and setup for home defense in the offseason. First thing I wanted to change was the forend. Not possible. This model, the action bars are built into the forend. So to change it'll cost you about $60 (new action bars/slide

Solid choice

I got mine and a cheap case and it came out to about $303. Its accurate and fun to shoot. Super reliable shotguns. Much excite. So shotgun. Wow.

shells get stuck in both rem 870 and moss 500

after doing some research i discovered that mossberg like my remington 870 has a tendency of not ejecting spent shell, forend gets stuck and can't rack new shell. save your money and buy something better.
