Was hoping to purchase this and setup for home defense in the offseason. First thing I wanted to change was the forend. Not possible. This model, the action bars are built into the forend. So to change it'll cost you about $60 (new action bars/slide

shells get stuck in both rem 870 and moss 500
after doing some research i discovered that mossberg like my remington 870 has a tendency of not ejecting spent shell, forend gets stuck and can't rack new shell. save your money and buy something better.
