Bought this Mossberg from Bud's which is my second such gun purchase and the first was just great, nothing better. The second one would not allow the pump to engage after firing without pressing the release. I had to send it off to Mossberg through my FFL

Good Value for the Money

My take on the Mossberg 535 is that it is a very good deal for your money, and it is very competitive with any other make or model of pump shotgun. I grew up hunting with an Ithaca Model 37 20 gauge, and I eventually moved up to a Remington 870 Wingmaster

Best Gun For The Money

This shot gun Mossberg Model 535 is a excellent gun for deer or birds. Last year I got a nice buck first time out on opening day of gun season. I have used it for duck, goose, turkey and all bird hunting along with trap. This gun is a great all around gun

The gun feels and looks alright until you get it out to the range and every second shot you have live rounds falling at your feet. The cartridge stops on these guns seem to be bent wrong and need to be fixed right out of the box. Luckily Cabela's was nice

Good purchase

Bought this a year ago and has been working out great. I have had one misfire though. Other than that, It is a good purchase to make. The rifled barrel that comes with it is a very good deal considering this only costs about $20 more than a regular 535 an
