Have yet to shoot the Marlin 94 in 45 Colt, looks solid, matt finish on wood, machine marks on receiver, could be polished better. Action is tight, shoulkd work out fine, loads and unloads dummy ammo well. Othr than the machining marks nice looking firear

I finally had to chance to take this beauty out to the range. Started with HSM 250gr cowboy loads, on paper out of the box. Ran 260gr deer grenades next, recoil wasn't bad at all. Granted I find 7mm rem mag and 3" 12 gauge tolerable without breaks or pads
