Wood looks generic/synthetic, checkering is sharp and overall it is a good o/u for the price.Trigger pull is heavy but may break in or be adjusted. Will put some more time in testing, report later

Purchased a tristar 28 gauge ex hunter, Buds service was great. The gun list weight is 4.8 lb but weighs in at 5.3 on a electric postal scale. Still a very light gun with nice finish!

Seems to be a well made shotgun for the price. Have fired 100's of times with no problems. Very light weight makes it a pleasure to carry all day. A little tricky on the Skeet field as it swings very fast.
