Arrived with some surface rust on the barrel, not a huge deal as I got it all off. Otherwise, it's a beautiful rifle and I can't wait to shoot it. Savage makes an excellent rifle.

This is my first experience with a 17 caliber. I first tried CCI 17gr V-max and was just sick. It couldn't shoot better than 2 MOA. Ordered Hornady 17 gr. V-Max and it could shoot 1 MOA consistently with .66" @ 100 yds being my best group. Last 15 shots @
