Beautiful gun- another review a few years back mentioned the stock--mine looks and feels great--Buds had it on sale and Savage had a rebate of $60.00 in addition to the sale price. I have shot older Savage rifles and am sure this one will be just as good.

I bought this rifle last May 2015 and the only thing I found disapointing was the stock. Right in frount of the pistol grip it has a week point whish allows the stock to flex just alittle. The acuracy is not affected, The flex is not that easy, my groups
