After careful break-in, rifle shoots sub-moa out to 200 yards, for about 12 rounds, and then accuracy quickly goes haywire due to copper fouling. With a cleaning after 15 rounds I'll end up with a dozen bright blue patches. The accutrigger is good; light

Tough to beat a Savage... price is right, trigger is light and crisp and very accurate. Easily shoots 1 MOA or better at 100 yards. Have shot it as far as 800 yards with good results.

Great shooting Savage. Transaction with Bud's was smooth as is the action of this great shooting .308. Put a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16 X 50mm on her and she shoot .750" 5 shoot group with factory loads. Moral of the story: great gun and great gun dealer!
