Detailed Review

The Marlin 336 TDL is a classic American lever-action rifle that has stood the test of time. It is a favorite among hunters and gun enthusiasts alike, and for good reason. This rifle has been crafted with precision and attention to detail, making it an extraordinary firearm.

The 336 TDL is chambered in .30-30 Winchester, a popular cartridge for hunting medium-sized game. The rifle features a 20-inch barrel and a tubular magazine that holds six rounds. The lever action is smooth and easy to cycle, making it quick to fire off multiple rounds.

The rifle's barrel and receiver are made from high-quality steel and have been blued to prevent rust and corrosion. The stock is made from American black walnut and has a polished finish, giving the rifle a classic look. The stock also features fine checkering on the grip and forearm for added texture and grip.

One of the unique features of the 336 TDL is the octagonal barrel. This type of barrel was popular in the early days of firearms, and Marlin brought it back specifically for this rifle. The octagonal shape not only adds to the rifle's aesthetic appeal but also provides greater rigidity, which translates to better accuracy.

The 336 TDL has a Williams adjustable rear sight and a hooded front sight with a brass bead. That combination makes it easy to acquire targets and maintain accuracy, even in low-light conditions. The rifle also comes drilled and tapped for a scope mount, which can be mounted easily without altering the rifle's classic look.

Overall, the Marlin 336 TDL is a well-crafted firearm that offers a classic look and modern functionality. Its high-quality components and attention to detail make it a reliable and accurate hunting rifle that will last for generations to come.

This is my 3rd new Marlin from Buds this summer. I think Remington has worked through their issues they had early on in the Marlin buy out. The wood on this rifle is very nice with a lot of curl in both the forearm and butt stock. Wood to metal fit is als
