You can adjust the height of the stock to the exact height that suites you allowing you to get into the perfect position. The Männel gliding handstop with its 3 removable distance discs now offers multiple small adjustments. Because of the ball bearing in the handstop, it slips into its ideal position every time. When firing the propellant in the cartridge, an explosive diffusion of gases then creates a base shockwave, which causes the barrel to vibrate before the bullet has even moved. Therefore ASB has the unique Shock Controller! With this the shock waves are not transferred to the barrel causing unnecessary vibrations. The security or safety mode of the ASB serves simultaneously as a dry firing mechanism. Dry fire shots for the first time can be done without damaging the firing pin! The correct position of your trigger blade is one of the main requirements to pull the trigger properly. With our VARIO STAR this is now possible! To offer the highest possible individuality you can choose out of 5 different grip sizes for your stock! With the ASB Top your package includes a top quality sight either Centra or Gehmann which ensures the highest accuracy but also allows you to observe the wind conditions easily while in position. ASB action is 7 cm further back than many other actions allowing you to load the rifle much more easily. Modern aluminium stocks most of the times are straight due to production manufacturing. The stock can be removed, it can also be angled laterally to the axis of the barrel. Therefore it is possible to change the configuration of the stock to comfortably accommodate the different shooting positions.
