Just mounted a good scope today and following the break in guidelines Howa gives I find this rifle with good ammo will easily give 1 MOA performance. The clip retaining lever is easily bumped so take note or you could drop the clip out without knowing it.

I bought the howa classic varminter because I also have a Weatherby vanguard series 2 with a walnut stock I love my vanguard its beautifully made & very smooth , howa make the actions for Weatherby for my next gun I wanted something that was nice straight
