Detailed Review
The Auto-Ordnance 1927-A1 T1B is a semi-automatic carbine chambered in .45 ACP. It is a variant of the famous Thompson submachine gun that was used extensively by U.S. troops during World War II.
The 1927-A1 T1B features a 16.5-inch barrel with a finned design that not only looks cool but also helps dissipate heat. The overall length of the carbine is 41 inches, and it weighs in at 13 pounds. The T1B model has a blued steel receiver and a vertical foregrip, making it resemble the classic Tommy gun.
The carbine uses a detachable stick magazine that holds up to 30 rounds of .45 ACP ammunition. The magazine release is located on the right side of the receiver, just behind the trigger guard. The T1B also comes with a standard rear sight that can be adjusted for windage and elevation.
One of the unique features of the 1927-A1 T1B is its semi-automatic operation. Unlike the original Thompson submachine gun, which was a fully automatic weapon, the T1B fires only one round per trigger pull. This makes it legal for civilian ownership in most states.
The T1B model also includes a hard plastic carrying case with foam padding on the inside to protect the carbine during transportation. Additionally, the case has cutouts for the carbine, a spare magazine, and a cleaning kit.
In terms of performance, the 1927-A1 T1B is a reliable and accurate carbine. It has a smooth trigger pull and cycles through rounds with ease. The vertical foregrip provides a comfortable and stable grip, making it easy to control during rapid fire.
Overall, the Auto-Ordnance 1927-A1 T1B is a fun and unique carbine that pays homage to the classic Thompson submachine gun. Its semi-automatic operation makes it legal for civilian ownership while still providing an enjoyable shooting experience.

This is the most disappointing firearm purchase I've ever made. First time out shooting the front compensator came off. Continually jams with any 45acp ammo. I would not recommended this firearm. Be warned that any return to the manufacturer for warranty

I got this gun because of the history. I appreciate the 1927 patent, weight, and appearance. It is clunky but a virtual copy of original in semi mode.
